CAPE GIRARDEAU — Vice President Dick Cheney will attend a private fundraiser later this month in Cape Girardeau to benefit Missouri Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder.

The Southeast Missourian reports that the Oct. 20 reception for the Republican Kinder's re-election campaign will be at the home of lawyer and conservative author David Limbaugh. Attendees will pay $250 each or up to $2,500 for a photo with the vice president.

Cheney spokesman Jamie Hennigan told the Cape Girardeau newspaper that additional details of the vice president's Missouri schedule will be released a couple of days before the visit.

Kinder campaign manager James Harris said that Kinder is pleased that Cheney will visit his hometown.
