The Missouri softball team won both games of a doubleheader Thursday at South Florida’s Under Armour Invitational.
In the first game, the Tigers defeated Chattanooga 3-1. Junior Stacey Delaney pitched seven innings while only giving up one run. She struck out 11 and walked one.
In the second game, the Tigers beat Central Michigan 8-2. Junior Lindsey Ubrun paced the offense with a home run and three RBIs. Freshman Kathryn Poet also hit a home run.
The Tigers improved to 17-6 and will continue invitational play today with another doubleheader. They will face Long Island at 1:30 p.m. and Team USA in an exhibition game at 5:30 p.m.
