Rose B. Jennings
Rose B. Jennings of Springfield died Monday, July 7, 2008. She was 93.
Ms. Jennings was born April 3, 1915, in Chillicothe.
She is survived by her daughters Wreatha Etheridge of Fayetteville, Ark., and Judy Wiggs and Jean Fenton, both of Springfield; a sister, Fern McClanahan of Thompson; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. July 10 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church, 2210 W. Republic Road in Springfield. Services will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel.
There will be a private interment at Columbia Cemetery, 30 E. Broadway.
Memorial donations may be sent to the Southwest Missouri Office on Aging, 1735 S. Fort Ave., Springfield, MO 65807. The office’s program, Our Daily Bread, delivered meals to Ms. Jennings for six years.
The family wants to thank the Springfield Rehabilitation and Health Care Center for taking care of Ms. Jennings during her last days.
